We had an amazing soap Making and health education session with a group of teenage moms at the Wings of Hope rescue center in Kamulu, Nairobi in partnership with Jumuika Action for Development. Harriet our CEO took them through the soap making process and left the girls a challenge to cure the soap . We look forward to seeing this skills help the center cut on costs used to buy soap and for the girls to earn income by making and selling these organic soaps. Thank you JAD for giving the girls a reason to smile
MSU in conjunction with The US State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) awarded us, through Harriet and Belinda Sustainability Officer, Sustainable Management Services LTD, a small grant to facilitate a program dubbed Coffee Value Addition in Kiambu County Kenya.
These organizations have been very instrumental in our growth journey as a business, where we were fortunate enough to intern at the Michigan State University Product centre and learnt a whole lot on ideation, product formulation, quality control etc.
