About Us

Halisi Naturals Brands was founded by Harriet Sanja in 2016 as one of the first brands to carry quality organic butters, oils and soaps in Kenya. Having struggles with adult eczema that wasn’t healing using steroids, Harriet embarked on a journey to find natural solutions for the same, and that’s how she discovered Shea butter and later learnt how to make botanic soaps.

She shared some of her products with friends and as demand grew she realized she could help a lot more people and that's how the business was started. Most of the products have since been developed following customer insights and requests.
Our Story

Halisi Naturals Brands through its CEO Harriet Sanja has been fortunate to be incubated in the United States of America, in 2018 When Harriet interned at the Michigan State University Product center. This gave us the opportunity to see things in a wider perspective in terms of improving on quality, delivering on our promise and pushing our brand onto the world class stage. We are still learning and relearning with the input of our wonderful mentors from across the world. We have also featured in the Young Africa Leaders initiative (YALI) and Pan Africa Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN) as young African Change leaders in the entrepreneurship space. We keep reinventing, we keep strategizing and we keep serving you the best way we can. We also take up botanic soap training classes to pass on the skill and enable others to earn a living through economic empowerment. Together, a step at a time, we can change the world.
